AMSTERDAM, July 31 (Reuters) - Dutch financial services
group ING Groep NV sold its annuity and mortgage
businesses in Chile to Corp Group Vida Chile, S.A. for an
undisclosed sum, it said on Friday.
ING, which announced a "Back to Basics" program in April
that includes plans for 8 billion euros in asset sales, said the
Chilean business that it is selling had about 35 million euros
in pre-tax earnings in 2008.
